Rain is a good thing :]

So it's Thursday and I haven't posted since last Thurday's thankful post. [oops] I promise I will try and do better. ;]

RaIn~ I am still thankful for it even though we have been receiving an over abundance of it right now. It's flooding like crazy around here. Schools are closed and people can't get anywhere. [I was lucky and got rained in with my amazing family.]

*I've always been a big fan of rainy days... lighting lots of candlles and drinking some coffee or hot chocolate or hot tea.

*I love hearing the sound of rain hitting against the window. What a calming and soothing thing. It also reminds me of how my sins are washed away and I am made new. Thank you Jesus! So as I was soaking in [literally] and enjoying all the rain that we've got this week I am thinking I could still take a few more days of it. :]

I'm also thankful for ...

I just got to talk with my best friend who is volunteering down in Guatemala right now at an orphanage. She's going to be there for 3 months. I miss her soo much. I am so thankful for skype allowing us to communicate and see each other. Best part is that.... drum roll please.... it's FREE! :]
